Publication: Accurate Parameters Identification of a Supercapacitor Three-Branch Model

In a significant stride forward in the field of supercapacitor research, our colleagues from INRIM, within the EMPHASIS project, have recently published a paper in IEEE Access. The study introduces two groundbreaking concepts:

  1. Innovative Measurement Method: A pioneering approach has been developed to determine the non-linear leakage resistance of supercapacitors (SCs) using a novel measurement method, and
  2. Three-Branch Circuit Model: An inventive modeling approach employs a Three-Branch circuit model for highly accurate simulation of supercapacitors.

This research not only deepens our understanding of supercapacitors but also holds promise for enhancing their practical applications. For further details, the complete paper is available on the IEEE Access journal website.
