EMPHASIS at Graphene Week 2025: posters, talks and wearable graphene

The EMPHASIS consortium had a strong presence at Graphene Week 2025 (Graphene Flagship) last week in Vincenza, Italy.

Partners Dorela Hoxha (Pleione Energy) and Alessandro Cultrera (INRiM – Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica) presented the EMPHASIS poster on the electrical characterisation of electrodes for supercapacitors. Colleagues from Università degli Studi di Torino also delivered a presentation on EMPHASIS, prompting great discussions.

Earlier that day, the team attended the Graphene Flagship Annual Meeting, where GrapheneEU projects shared advances across graphene and other 2D materials.

Dorela Hoxha also showcased innovations connected to the INERRANT Batteries and EMPHASIS-Supercaps projects.
