INRIM showcases EMPHASIS at Smart Energy workshop in Milan

On May 8, 2025, the Smart Energy (“Energia Intelligente”) Workshop was held in Milan, promoted by CalPower and ITECH Electronics. The event focused on innovative solutions for smart energy systems and energy storage technologies.

The EMPHASIS project was featured in a presentation by Dr. Mauro Zucca of INRIM, who shared insights into the characterization and simulation of supercapacitor behavior. His talk highlighted key results from the project, demonstrating the role of supercapacitors in enhancing the efficiency and lifespan of energy storage systems.
