UNIWU Presents EMPHASIS at ECS Meeting in Montreal

UNIWU took part in the 247th ECS Meeting, held from May 18–22, 2025, in Montréal, Canada, and organised by The Electrochemical Society. This major international conference brings together researchers and professionals in electrochemical and solid-state science and technology.

During the event, UNIWU presented ongoing work from the EMPHASIS-Supercaps project in a talk entitled "Cyanoborate-based Ionic Liquids as Electrolytes for High Energy Density Supercapacitors." The presentation showcased recent advances in electrolyte design aimed at improving the energy density and performance of next-generation supercapacitors.

Participation in such leading scientific forums helps strengthen the visibility of our research and fosters collaboration within the global energy storage community.
